Our story

Summer 2020

Despite the global health crisis, as musicians we felt we had the unique opportunity to create an international musical community while staying at home.

PianoWebFest 2020 , one of the first online festivals in the world, brought together  young pianists and internationally renowned pedagogues.
World known  artists participated in a vast variety of lectures, panels and discussions.

Spring 2021

PianoWebFest festival transferred gradually  to a live format! Along with the lessons live and online We had a live concert  at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv with the "Tel Aviv soloists ensemble" in a special gala concert, in honour of the late Mrs. Via Silvya Hassa. In this Gala concert we had seven outstanding students who performed as soloists with the ensemble.

Summer 2021

The  successful online 2021 spring session included: private lessons, lectures and exciting encounters between professors and students around the world.

Summer 2022

First time our dream came true!

Piano Fest Arad became the major piano festival in the south of Israel. We hosted talented students from the UK, Bulgaria, China and Israel along with distinguished faculty from Germany, Austria, UK, USA and Israel. PianoFest Arad, which took place at the Arad Conservatory, featured exciting concerts and among them the Arthur Rubinstein competition winner, Shiori Kuwahara. We had outstanding recitals of faculty and students, and thoughtful lectures and panels.

Summer 2023

Our vision for this year’s program is intensive eight days of: Concerts, masterclasses, lessons, lectures, a Concerto competition, concerts with the Isaeli Sinfonietta Beer Sheva, collaboration with the Arthur Rubinstein international society, and more!

Summer 2024

The Piano Fest Arad International Piano Festival took place in Arad for the third consecutive year — and was an especially moving event. Despite a difficult year and the war in the background, students and teachers from Israel, Austria, Denmark, Germany, France, and Sweden came to our desert for eight intense days of music, inspiration, and creativity. Professors from leading academies in Israel and Europe gave lessons, masterclasses, lectures, and performed in recitals and concerts for a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

During the festival, two magnificent concerts were held by the Israel Sinfonietta Be’er Sheva, hosted by the wonderful Nitza Shaul, adding a festive and emotional highlight to the week.
